 ANTHOLOGY CONTRIBUTOR AGREEMENT:

Anthology Title: Emerging From the Dark: How a Dark Night of the Soul Becomes a New Beginning

This Anthology Contributor Agreement is made effective as of ______ (date you are signing).

The Contributor grants Sedona Soul Sisters Publishing the right to publish the submitted work as part of the above-named Anthology.

The Publisher is granted: First World Print and Electronic Rights to publish the Work as part of the Anthology.

• The right to distribute the Anthology in print, digital, and future electronic formats, including but not limited to paperback, hardcover, and eBook.
• The right to use short excerpts from the Work for marketing, promotional materials, and publicity related to Anthology.

These rights apply worldwide.

The Publisher retains full copyright ownership of the chapters in this Anthology.

The Contributor grants the Publisher a perpetual, exclusive license to publish the Work as part of the Anthology and in connection with the promotion and sale of the Anthology.

The Contributor agrees to pay the Publisher a one-time participation fee of $175.00.

Payment is due upon signing this Agreement. Payment is made to Sedona Soul Sisters Publishing on the Sign-up Page of website.

This fee contributes toward editorial services, formatting, cover design, production, and publishing costs associated with the Anthology.

The participation fee is non-refundable, except in the event that the Publisher cancels the Anthology project prior to publication.

The Contributor agrees to submit their completed chapter in accordance with the following guidelines:

• Word Count: Between 3,000 and 3,500 words
• Submission Deadline: Once we have all of the authors for this project, deadlines will be decided and discussed with the group involved in the anthology project.
• Failure to submit the chapter by the agreed deadlines may result in removal from the Anthology without refund of the participation fee.

The Publisher reserves the right to perform copy editing, formatting, and proofreading to ensure consistency with the style and quality of the Anthology.

The Publisher will not make substantial changes to the content of the Work without the Contributor’s approval.

The Publisher will provide the Contributor with:

• One (1) complimentary paperback copy of the Anthology upon publication.

Additional copies may be purchased by the Contributor at the author-discounted rate when available.

The Contributor grants the Publisher permission to use their name, biography, photograph, and likeness for marketing and promotional purposes related to the Anthology. All authors will be showcased on the Sedona Soul Sisters Publishing website.

Contributors are encouraged and required, to participate in promotional efforts such as:

• Social media announcements
• Interviews
• Book launch promotions to insure a successful launch for the anthology
• Sharing with their personal and professional networks

Requires  contributors to participate in at least one or more promotional events (virtual launch, podcast, summit, etc.). It can greatly increase book sales and visibility.

The Contributor agrees to provide:

• A short biography (approximately 100–150 words)
• A head-shot photograph (300 DPI)
• These materials will be included in the Anthology and/or promotional materials.

The Contributor warrants that:

• The Work is original and created solely by the Contributor.
• The Work has not been previously published.
• The Work does not contain material that is libelous, unlawful, or infringing upon the rights of any third party.

The Contributor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Publisher from any legal claims arising from the content of the Work.

The Publisher reserves the right to remove a Contributor from the Anthology if:

• Submission deadlines are not met
• Payment obligations are not fulfilled
• The submitted work violates the terms of this Agreement
• The contributor acts outside professional boundaries not in alignment with the members of the anthology.

In such cases, the participation fee will not be refunded.

If the Contributor chooses to withdraw from the Anthology after submitting their chapter or after editing has begun, the participation fee will not be refunded.

The Publisher reserves the right to determine whether the submitted Work will remain in the Anthology.

The Publisher reserves the right to cancel the Anthology project.

If the project is canceled prior to publication, participation fees will be refunded to Contributors.

The Publisher will make reasonable efforts to publish the Anthology within 12 months following the final manuscript deadline. However, publication timelines may change due to editing, production, or distribution considerations.

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of __________________________.

This Agreement represents the entire understanding between the Publisher and the Contributor and supersedes all prior communications or agreements related to the Anthology.

Any modifications must be made in writing and agreed upon by both parties.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Agreement.
